The Lady Musgrave Trust is governed by a carefully selected voluntary board of directors who donate their time to giving young women and their children a chance in life. They have a passion and commitment to the work of The Lady Musgrave Trust and are dedicated to saving and enhancing the lives of young women in Brisbane.

Patricia McCormack - President

Patricia McCormack is an experienced Director, Executive and Management Consultant. Her professional experience has been mainly in Human Resource Management. Before establishing People Focus, her own consultancy, Patricia had extensive experience in the finance and IT industries. She has a Bachelor Degree from Queensland University majoring in Organisational Psychology and Industrial Relations.

Consuelo do Campo - Company Secretary

Connie is an experienced solicitor in the Charities and Not-For-Profits sector. She is currently In-House Legal Counsel at the St Vincent de Paul Society Queensland. Prior to this role, Connie was a solicitor in the Business Services group at Mullins Lawyers where she provided advice on corporate/commercial, governance, employment and intellectual property matters. Connie sits on the Children’s Law Committee of the Queensland Law Society and is also Company Secretary of the St Vincent de Paul Society Queensland Housing Limited. Previous roles include Vice-President of the Queensland Young Lawyers Association.

Connie feels privileged to be a part of The Lady Musgrave Trust and is a strong advocate for the Trust’s role in providing accommodation and support for young women in Queensland.

Mary Mealey - Director

Mary has experience working in both government and the private sector, including in the area of housing needs assessment and social planning, and through this, has developed a wide network in the planning, development and housing sectors.

Mary is a town planner with over 30 years experience, and a keen interest in housing issues. She has a Bachelor or Regional and Town Planning from UQ (1979) and a Graduate Diploma of Public Policy from UNE (1998).


Stephanie McMahon - Director

Stephanie has nearly 30 years’ experience in corporate strategy, brand management, stakeholder engagement and advocacy. She is the General Manager of Stakeholder Engagement and Corporate Strategy at electricity generator and energy company, Stanwell. Stephanie holds a Bachelor of Business Communication, along with post graduate qualifications in management and marketing. She is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. Stephanie is passionate about issues which affect young women’s quality of life; she believes that every woman deserves to flourish and prosper.


David Callaghan - Director

David is a Senior Associate in the Business Services division at Mullins Lawyers and has expertise in corporate and business advisory with a particular focus on mergers and acquisitions. David has provided advice to a number of Boards in the not-for-profit and charity sector, particular with Corporations Act and other regulatory compliance as well as risk minimisation strategies and policy.

David is excited about this opportunity to be able to give back to the community and to provide accommodation and support for young women in need through the Lady Musgrave Trust. 


Leone Crayden - Director

An experienced executive in the Housing and Mental Health sectors and is currently Executive Director of Q Shelter (the peak body representing Housing and homeless service providers in Queensland). Leone has held positions as the Chair of the Mental Health Coordinating Council (MHCC) of NSW and Co-Chair of the Agency of Clinical Innovation, Mental Health Network.  She has qualifications in nursing, corporate governance, community leadership and social science.


Louise Kelly - Director

Louise is a lecturer at the QUT Business School and teaches and researches in the digital advertising and marketing discipline.  Her research areas are social media, integrated marketing communications and privacy online.  She holds a Bachelor of Business degree majoring in Marketing, a Masters  degree, a Doctorate of Philosophy and is a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.  Louise is very excited to be joining the Lady Musgrave Trust and is looking forward to making a contribution towards helping and supporting women in need.


Pixie Annat - Business Advisor - Community Relations

Pixie Annat has worked tirelessly for many decades for the Queensland community. Highlights include:

* Hon. Secretary of the Royal Brisbane Hospitals Nurses' Assn. Inc.
* Awarded the MBE - Queen's Birthday Honours List in 1997 and an OAM in 1992
* Director of Nursing and CEO of St Andrews Memorial Hospital from 1965 to 1992
* Federal President of the Royal Australia Nursing Federation from 1975 - 1979


Beryce Nelson - Business Advisor

Beryce Nelson has had a prolific professional career and been atireless community volunteer.

Highlights include:

* Qualified in Diagnostic Radiography and Masters in Management
* Campaigned for better rights for disabled people over many decades
* Elected to the Queensland Legislative Assembly in 1980 holding several senior parliamentary and cabinet positions between 1983 to 1989
* Managing Director of JPR Management, an integrated marketing consultancy
* Served on a number of key board including Energex and the Abused Child Trust
* Lectured at James Cook University in Brisbane until retirement
* Appointed to the Queensland Chapter of the Accountability Roundtable 2012
