The Hon. Mick de Brenni MP

Queensland’s only annual event focusing on the issue of women’s homelessness is returning to Brisbane for its 10th anniversary Forum.
With thousands of women experiencing homelessness in Queensland and alarming increases in the number of older women experiencing homelessness - we believe that new innovative ideas are needed.
Come along to this important Forum about changing the future for today’s young women so they do not start on a journey towards homelessness.
Presentations will include lived experiences of homelessness and will explore innovative solutions to the issue including education, employment, financial literacy, accessing housing and more.
Attended by representatives from government, community, university and corporate organisations – this is your opportunity to be part of finding innovative solutions to women’s homelessness, and to network with others sharing this goal.
A full program will be available in July 2018.At the Forum you will receive a copy of the 2018-19 edition of the "Handy Guide for Homeless Women in Brisbane" and an order form for additional copies. You can per-order by visiting the online store on our website.
