Now in its 9th year, the purpose of the annual Forum on women and homelessness is to:

  • Identify and talk about the key challenges that the sector is experiencing;
  • Bring together experts to provide relevant advice and updates on issues;
  • Provide a platform for improved collaboration on issues; and
  • Share new ideas that can be leveraged to improve the lives of the women that have become or are about to become homeless.

The Annual Forum is a sector driven event that is developed each year by a joint Working Group Committee comprising representatives from The Lady Musgrave Trust, Centacare, Ozcare, QShelter, DVConnect, Micah Project Inc., Queensland Health and the Department of Housing and Public Works.
